Christmas is approaching and at Wide narrow we are
preparing for the Holidays
At the office we are all looking forward to spending the
holidays with our families and friends. Christmas is also the time
of the year which can be hard for a lot of people living in less
fortunate circumstances. At Wide narrow we have chosen to lend
support to a charity.
This year we have chosen BRIS, an NGO that provides support
services to strengthen the rights of children and young people and
improve their living conditions. BRIS aims to support children in
distress and is a link between children, adults and their
communities.
My colleagues and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year.
News in Perspective
Perspective's new face was launched in November and was a
success. Most Gatekeepers have chosen to use the new monitoring
module. The feedback that has been given to us tells us that it is
easy to understand and work in.
We have developed a new module for Single Sign On - which
enables you to log an automatically to the portal by the press of
one button. The function, which is included in the license fee,
integrates Perspective with your intranet and is easy to implement.
We will contact your coordinator during the first quarter next year
and go over the technical prerequisites.
Currently we are developing functions for the Gatekeepers. The
biggest changes comprise, amongst other, an enhanced automatic
extraction of the preamble of an information post, as well as
categorization supported by machine learning. A more distinct
Context will give greater opportunity to Select without reading the
original source. These functions together with an improved
interface will be launched during the first quarter of next
year.

We are happy to welcome Sveriges Ingenjörer, Sweden's largest
network for graduate engineers, to the collection of
Opportunity Seekers. They initiated the process Wide narrow
PERSPECTIVE during December.
