Firstly, we want to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts, customers and partners alike. We take great pride in the business value we have been able to provide throughout the years and appreciate the personal relationships we have forged in that time. Without you this would not have been possible.
This merge is exciting for all of us at Wide Narrow. We are sure you have plenty of questions and wanted to address some of them here.
Q. Is everyone at Wide Narrow still there?
A. Yes! This is a strategic merge that has been in the works for some time. It is important to us that the merge positively benefit our customers, partners, and employees. Our team has already begun to collaborate with our new colleagues at InfoDesk. Exciting updates to come!
Q. How will this affect customers and partners?
A. There are some really exciting product discussions in the works. This will be overly simplifying things, but from a technical perspective, InfoDesk has extremely strong information offerings and in-house AI capabilities. They serve Global 2000 customers across multiple enterprise use cases. These strengths compliment our analysis workflow and reporting suite beautifully. It's a match made in heaven.
From a cultural and logistical perspective, we will be working as one team. You will get the chance to meet our new colleagues and we will meet InfoDesk's customers. For anyone who has attended one of our customer forums, this will be of huge benefit to all. We have more team-members and more customers to provide value, share use cases, and support each other.
Q. How will Wide Narrow ensure a smooth transition for customers during the merger process?
A. This is of the utmost priority to us. Short term, we are running our companies in parallel so everything will feel like business as usual. That being said, we have begun transition planning. It is likely that you will meet a number of InfoDesk employees as we begin to work closely together.
Q. Will there be any major changes to the products or services?
A. In the very short term none at all. Our product teams have just started working together. For the near term, we are working on a phase 1 integration of key InfoDesk solutions which compliment the Wide Narrow platform. Our goal across the now larger product team is to provide you with more flexibility and more value.
Q. Will there be any changes to the customer support or account management?
A. We will be continuing customer support and account management in our current structure for a while. InfoDesk is a larger global organization so it is likely that our tools and staff will continue to improve as time progresses.
Q. How will the merger affect the company's overall vision and strategy?
A. One of the primary drivers for this merge is the fact that our company visions are closely aligned. Joining forces enables us to execute faster on our mission and realize the vision. This will become clearer with time and we will make sure to communicate with you as the merge progresses.
Q. Will this affect my current contract?
A. This news will not affect your current contract. We hope to work with you for a very long time and please feel free to contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager with any questions. We have contacted customers who have a change of entity clause in place and everything has been approved in that regard as well.
